Tipu & Mana
- Basel -
Three reasons why we all need our own green space:
Relaxing spaces: Plants could have therapeutic benefits and studies have shown that plants could play a role in reducing stress levels
Creative work space: Studies have shown that plants can sharpen your attention, boost your productivity and creativity
Healthier homes: Certain plants may improve the quality of indoor air
What in the name?
In the native language of New Zealand (Te Reo Maori), Tipu means 'plants' and Mana means 'spiritual power'. New Zealand is recognised globally for it's nature and contribution to biodiversity, with over 80,000 endemic species. Having first visited the beautiful country in 2013, I discovered and fell in love with the Waitakere Ranges Regional Park (an unassuming hidden gem, 40-minutes drive from Auckland nestled along the coastline - see photo of the region below). I have always been drawn by the lush bounty that you can find in the rainforests in this stunning region.
Tipu and Mana is an attempt to create and bring the same essence to urban people in the comforts of their own homes. Mana or 'spiritual power' is complementary to Tipu, because there is something spiritual and comforting about plants. As modern-day people, we are often too busy to take the time to admire their natural beauty, their complex existence, and the indescribable powers they can bring into our lives.
Let Tipu & Mana bring a bit of special power into your life.
From one-off consultations to regular visits, I will provide the most suitable service for you and your plants.
